Fall is the busiest time of year for family photographers and it's no wonder with the beautiful landscape that God provides each and every year! The most asked question this time of year is, "when should I schedule to get the best color?" I wish I had the magic date each year! After many years photographing families, I've figured out that the best time to schedule a session is late October/early November. While it's not an exact prediction, it's the best I can do! All of these sessions were taken between October 25th and December 1st over the last 4 years. I've also found the most beautiful spots around the city and can guide you on which location will provide the best color for your scheduled date.

Outdoor fall sessions can be scheduled now through Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving, outdoor sessions are completely dependent on the weather.
